"Jehovah Unmasked" reminds me a lot of the book "Jumpin Jehovah". Both books have great information about the religious toilet we've been swimming in and the Jehovah turd of salvation we were holding on to. How can anyone read information like this that rips the mask off Jehovah still like this God and defend his actions?

Now you have to prove you're worthy of that name by doing some great deeds. Have an alter erected and have your neighbors do some blood sacrifices for you with some of their sheep and cattle. Make sure they walk them up to the alter and slit their throats while still alive. You might could talk one of them into offering up their first born son. You could really insure your name a place by getting a talking snake to tell a naked woman that if she eats of a tree in your garden she can be like you and know good and bad. Be sure you get the talking snake to tell the woman you don't want her to be like you and know good and bad and to stay away from your tree because you don't want her to find out she's naked and then you would have to bring her some clothes and that would screw up everything. You could go out and find some bears to tear up 42 children in the neighborhood because they made fun of your bald-headed friend. Get to work, you've go to earn that name!

You reason with each other in childish circles trying to prove the unproveable and know the unknowable based on the Bible, a political book of errors compiled on the orders of deceptive men like Constantine to control the masses. A deified god-man posed no threat to the throne because he left no human heirs as Constantine knew only so well. A triune God worked well with the politics of that day. After all, promoting a myth about a myth for control of the world was ingenious in its own right. Remember, only a myth would let people murder, rape, steal, and pillage others in his glorious, omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibullshit name.

Was Jesus sacrifice really a sacrifice?
by jambon1 ini would like to state firstly that i in no way intend to offend anyone.. its just when i was in the org i had major problems with the blood issue/death because of persecution.
many times we were taught that god does`nt ask us to do anything that he has`nt done himself.
now imagine everything the bible says about jesus really did happen.

Let me start out by saying that I do mean to show disrespect to any God that requires blood sacrifice for appeasement. Jehovah liked blood from the start as shown by his approval of Abel's sacrifice of an animal which sounds like the request of a El or Baal god to me. Then all the countless thousands of animal sacrifices in Israel, you know, the kind where you led the animal up to the alter and slit his throat and let the blood spew while still alive. These were Jehovah's favorites. Then we come to the sacrifice of Jesus, the type of death that was suffered by countless thousands during history and many dying a much more gruesome form of death than Jesus experienced. By the way, what was this sacrifice for, oh, I remember, because Jehovah got pissed off that Adam and Eve wanted to be like him and have knowledge of good and bad. Heck, they were so dumb that they didn't even know they were naked. Just think, a talking snake told a naked woman how to figure out she was naked and blood has been required to fix that screw-up ever since. So was Jesus sacrifice really a sacrifice or the ravings of an insane God?

I want to let everyone reading this board to know that I was personally there in the courthouse and heard this testimony by elder James R. Johnson from Sugarhouse, Utah. I heard this liar in action. I gave testimony in behalf of Alamb and then watched elder Jim lie his ass off in the good name of Jehovah. Her husband, Leonard, did his share of lying as well. When Leonard was asked later about Jim's testimony and his lying about the existance of the child custody information in court and under oath, it was noted that his reply was:"He(Jim)lied, I didn't tell him what to say." This spineless bastard was turning on his own witness that came to lie for him in court. Alamb has suffered greatly at the hands of these witnesses. Her good name and reputation have been unjustly smeared by these treacherous witnesses. Her children have been manipulated by lies and the fear of eternal cutting off at Armageddon carried out by their father and the elders in the congregation. Its a terrible thing to use this kind of fear on these little girls. The youngest daughter even stated that she would choose to live with her mother and die at Armageddon rather than be alienated from her. She still is being alienated by her father against her wishes and pleads constantly to live with her mother. This is not hearsay, I personally heard her pleas and watched the hesteria of a little girl deprived of her mother. It's not a pretty sight. My thoughts concerning elder Jim is that there is a day of reckoning for this liar and I wondered when it would come. Well, this may be karma. The amount of publicity this video is getting may well cause him to become too much of a liability for the society. This dude's ego is bigger than you can imagine and if the society removed him over this incident, who can guess what it would do to him? Lying bastards doing in a lying bastard, wouldn't that be a kick?

Talked to an elder about the BIG NEWS

we were both in a public place and we started to talk.
he was depressed because one of his teens is now df'ed.

The next time you have the opportunity, why don't you bring up the blood issue and just ask him since we are now allowed to take blood fractions which come from donated blood, how long does he think it will be before the society lets us donate our own blood for these fraction extractions? Most witness never reason out that someone has to break God's law and donate the blood for the fractions. Ask him if he was bitten by a poisionous snake, would he take the serum? If he has a horse, ask him if he would let his horse and its blood be used to process snake bite serum? Most witnesses never reason that animal's blood is used to process lots of serums and vaccines we take during our life time. This blood is not poured out onto the ground as God's law requires. This is one of the reasons I am no longer a witness. Someone asked me these same questions and I was in time overwhelmed by the JW hypocrisy. This helped open my eyes and enabled me to start seeing the other flaws in the JW religion.

The answer is in the criticism. If a religion or the Bible can't stand up to the criticism, then you've found the answer. Just make sure the criticism is just and the sources reputable. You're in the beginning stages of a great journey. Don't let anyone on this board or anywhere else tell you the route to take on your journey. Read all the maps but choose your own direction.

Rex, The Bible text casts doubt about its own authority without us having to be critical. I guess you expect all of us to swallow that Bible chronology is inspired as well. You know what I mean, a global Noachian flood 4500 years ago, the creation of man 6000 years ago with Adam and Eve being the first humans and don't let us forget Eve came from Adams Rib. Then a talking snake tells a naked woman how to be like God and the screwup takes off them there. To any logical minded person the story of Adam is the begginning of the end for god. Myths are only good for mythical gods.

The WORST of apostates. In Utah the elders said if a witness was seen talking to me, they would be disfellowshipped. That was reported to me by a close friend who was a MS at the time. That's why I don't let anyone know my past since I left the state of Utah. I get to have some fun on occasion with the witnesses in this area by keeping my apostasy on the QT.
